FAQs About Embryo Donation
Embryo donation is preferred more than sperm donation. It is a method that has been used for many years and is quite different from other methods because in the embryo donation method, both sperm and egg donations are made. In this method, mutual agreement is required for both families of the receiver and the donor and shopping is provided accordingly.
Purpose of Embryo Donation
There may be the possibility of information exchange and communication between families after embryo donation. This is a situation that needs to be addressed in many positive and negative aspects. In the examinations made, it has been found that the families who are in communication support each other in order to raise the child well. In addition, the donor’s curiosity and concern about the child was resolved at this point. But there are, of course, determinations that there are also negative aspects. Differences between families and their perspectives on events emerge as a negative situation. At this point, it should be noted that the providers do not have any rights over the child.
Another point is contact with the child. At this point, this situation is mostly rejected, but if the child is an adult and there is a request to meet with the genetic family, the majority of the families accept this.
Working Limitations
