Who is Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bahçeci?
Prof. Dr. was born in Sivas in 1957. After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1980, Bahçeci completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the same faculty in 1985.
Performing his compulsory service at Ankara SSK Birth Center, Dr. Bahçeci later worked as a lecturer at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Bahçeci, who became an associate professor in 1991, received the title of professor in 2000.
Bahçeci, who carried out post-graduate studies on IVF for a year at Wayne State University in Detroit, the USA in 1990, established the German Hospital IVF Center in Istanbul in 1996 as a result of these studies.
After this work, which also laid the foundations of Bahçeci Health Group, the process of projects related to new centers, which has been going on for many years and still continues, has started.
Mustafa Bahçeci established respectively; Bahçeci Women’s Health Center in Nişantaşı in 1997, Azerbaijan Clinic in 2004, Middle East and Balkans IVF Center in Cyprus Magusa Private Life Hospital in 2005, Koşuyolu Umut IVF Center in 2006, Erbil Hawler IVF Center in 2008, Bahçeci Kosovo Private Branch Hospital in 2010, Baghdad Al-Waziria IVF Center in 2011, and Bahçeci Bosnia IVF Center in 2012.
Fulya Women’s Health and IVF Center, one of the biggest investments of the group, started its activities in 2009. Continuing to lead the group’s investments, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bahçeci established Diyarbakır Gynecology Diagnosis and Treatment Branch Center in 2013 and Bahçeci Ankara IVF Center in 2017.
Having more than 100 publications and papers in Turkey and abroad, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bahçeci is a member of the Turkish Society of Gynecology, the European Society of Human Reproductive Endocrinology (ESHRE), and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
